Hey Susan, (and anyone else who is viewing this)
We have a great dentist that was actually recommended by the kid's dentist in California. His name is Dr. Alan Golden. The practice we go to is called Camp Tooth, and it's in Q-town aboard Quantico. Once we got out here, I found out that a lot of my neighbors go there as well. We had our first visit a couple of weeks ago. Because we were new patients, he actually took Alex, the kids, and I into a room, told us a bit about himself, asked about us, and tlaked about his practice. I was very amazed by that. He is a pediatric dentist, and there is another one there named Dr. Jones. I have heard he is outstanding as well. To top it off, they have an adult dentist in the same office. His name is Dr. Kumar. I have not seen him yet, but I have an appointment at the end of the month. The best part is, the kids are scheduled at the same time, and if they get done before me, they'll keep them entertained while they're waiting. Here's the info:

| Jessica, Thanks so much for your input. As we move from duty station to duty station there are some things we have to do over and over, like finding a new dentist!! It always is easier if you have a good referal instead of closing your eyes and pointing at one in the yellow pages Let us know if you like your dentist, and I plan on calling to make appt's for the kids. Again thanks!!! |
