Good Morning fellow bargain hunter, We have set up this thread to take advantage of "specials" we find in the Northern Virginia area that will save us a couple of bucks. I apologize that some of these deals are from last week, but you get the idea---- last week Whole Foods had 20% off a case of wine (mix and match), that's a pretty good deal and can usually beet the Class 6 store G Street fabrics has on line soupons thatcan be used during their Winter Sale if you sign up at their web site. Harris Teeters has a wonderful shopping list capability right off of the weekly flier, if you sign up at their web site. I can usually walk out of the store saving 40% on groceries if I stick to my list. I haven't found any store that can beat the price of milk at the commissary. If you have found any super deals in the area and would love to share, this is the place for you! Thanks (and looking forward to saving my nex dollar), m |

The Diva has been very busy lately helping her friends and the children of her friends buy ridiculously inexpensive items. I wish I had her drive. She recently went to the new Merrifield's in Gainesville and found a whole room of clearance items at 80 - 90% off! She claims that Wegman's continually clears out their seasonal products at 70-90% off. I have yet to witness this feat, but have been the lucky recipient. I personally love Wegman's but hate the crowds. Also, I don't know my way around it as well as Giant, so for now, I'm staying with the stores I know. But I will continue to give them a try when I can't find the produce I want. |
